Risks of working shift...

Recently saw a report on the health risks involved in working shift hours.... hmm... how about working mums like me... still have to "run the next shift" when we get home? as in look after children? lol...
How about those who looks after children, looks after husband, looks after pets and then still need to do housework at night?
Isn't that like working a fulltime job n after that part-time job at home at night?
More risks?

Let's toughen up!!

its way overdue!!! I have been wanting to toughen up the fleshies....
i know some maybe saying.... "yeah you are not fat...toughen what?"
Well I know I am not fat...but I want to be healthy.
I want to say bye bye to those soft flesh n hi to firmed up muscles.
After given birth to 2 kids... i haven't got them properly trained yet.

What will it be like if they were to leave me one day?

What would I be if I ever were to live without them?

Nooooooo!!!!! I cannot think of that! 

Sleepy after 9pm...so I start to baby sling my 3YO and 1YO :D

It has been happening nowadays...I have a hard time keeping myself awake after 9pm...despite drinking coffee at the same time while watching tv with my kids. I'll start to doze off at a corner of the room or my bed while the 2 little ones jump up and down...run in and out of our room... while watching tv... or Hamzah mimmick dangerous stunts while I am almost knockout due to tiredness from a whole day's work. And the pushing and crying thing starts.... Where do these kids get their energy from....sometimes i really wonder? I gotta have lots of things to do with them to 1. keep them busy and 2. to prevent myself from falling asleep. Baby slinging them is 1 of the great things to do! I am trying to ringsling them at the back now...trust me its quite difficult to put your little ones on your back while struggling to put the ringsling cloth over them... and mind you...the 1 yr old just kept letting go of her hands and start to giggle each time she slipped off my back a bit...like something fun! Oh and slinging Hamzah...gosh! I didn't realise how much he had grown! Tiring on the back. But I managed to sling him at the front :D and Chinese writing time...i bought 2 chinese writing books for kids... actually they are for 3 yrs and up...but I just gave 1 to each so that both have something to do and not fight with each other. 1 book and 1 colour pencil each (no more no less...cos they'll fight from each other) I think its fun! both thought it to be some kidn of drawing book that u need to follow the dotted lines... and each time they connect the dots... they say out the name of the strokes such as "点提" "竖弯勾" "横折" etcetc. That sends them giggling and busy for a good 1 hour too.

Dear Hamzah and Sabriyah, Just want to let you knwo that whatever happens in your life, there is always a place called "Home". And yours, is with Bapak and Mak....in a beautiful warm jumbo flat in Jurong East. When you are happy, come home. When you are down, come home. When there is something...adventure... nonsense jokes etc... that u'll like to share...we are always there for you at home. You have a girlfriend or boyfriend, bring them home. We'll like to know who and how wonderful they are that you picked them.

do you 淘宝? I will be taobao-ing beautiful clothes I can find and posting them here. Searching through on taobao has been really temting me! I wanna buy nice dresses and clothes for work. I wanna get something that suits me. Something that works on me.

Fasting month....

Assalamu'alaikum. It's Ramadhan again. A month of tests, tests of patience, tests of many challenges etc during this period. May Allah accept our fasts and prayers during this season and forgive the sins that we "unknowingly" do. May we be able to do more good during this time. Ramadhan kareem to all.

June.... Love Eats 2 and back at UnI finally!

This is the second Love Eats session that I am organising. Not the best one...at least I felt so. I wanted to do something more local... more into the community instead of just going to sit-in and dine in restaurants. But so far, my favourite Tangs Teahouse didn't seem to show much interest... probably take me for some cheapo asking for discounts >.< So...hmm... I came up with a crazy idea...that is to go star gazing this september as part of a mooncake festival theme! lol! I like it! I want it! I hope sponsors will be out and Singapore Science centre...please reply to my email! I have gone back to UnI yesterday... with a special friend! hehe! Bao Yu! this girl from YHSS... she's one of the special students I met in my life, whom I felt kind of connection with. Kinda like sisters when we talk about anything and everything in our world! Appreciate very much that she came with open mind and heart. I guess being in the Amway business, I have to bring friends like this for the moment. Just keep bringing for events UnI holds. Definitely, one day! I will make it. and Definitely I will be able to buy clothes and shoes that I like... just like the way Michael Jackson does... Well, now I am excited about the hair growht series that's comng up in July! I want grow hair!!

2014... new happenings in life...

Interesting...even though I can't and I don't want to believe in this as a Muslim, I think this boost my confidence a bit and sends more positive energy to my mind :D There are new projects coming along in my life... I want to go back to Amway, but I guess being in it "almost alone" all the time... has been quite tiring... I shall leave it for a while... I still love everything and everyone I know in "Amway family" though! I will be back! Its a promise to myself :D But for now, I jus want to focus on something else... something more meaningful in life, something perhaps I can empower people, and build more confidence with myself...and be a better person, a btter more responsible mother and wife. There are many uncertainties in life, let's just breakthrough all these uncertainties and succeed! Zafirah = Victory I have not succeed in my life yet.
